In my course, I try to make the sessions as varied and as interesting as possible. When we study a particular watercolor technique, it is never purely academic, but always hands-on, as part of creating an actual drawing.
Quite often, the students manage to finish two, sometimes three works during one lesson. There is also a range of themes, such as “different ways to draw a flower”, “landscape”, “seascape”, “cityscape”, “sea and sky”, “architectural details”, “portrait”.
My aim is to give the students the keys to watercolor painting so that they can carry on creating outside of the class!
